The 19th Home of the Free…Because of the Brave Dinner will be held at Fogo De Chao in Tysons, VA on Thursday, September 5. The entire restaurant will be closed for this event which will welcome approximately 60 service members (and family), who are recovering from injuries sustained in defense of our country at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.
The evening will commence with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30. The 2024 NFL season opening game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens will be shown on TVs throughout the restaurant.
This is a tremendous opportunity for an enjoyable night of football and good food, while showing support for those who have sacrificed so much for our country. This outing means a great deal to the service members and their families.
All proceeds benefit Patriot Point, the Military Bowl Foundation’s retreat for wounded, ill and injured service members, their families and caregivers.
